Characters
Characters come up in different rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Prime, Legendary, each of which differs in terms of powers and skills, that can be upgraded by the usage of Wearables, Stones and Grimoires.
Each Character will be unique and will posses five Power Traits:
Chippify: increase the number of initial poker chips per day (FIH Token)
Stratagem: Reduces the energy consumed by the character
Enigma: increase the probability of receiving Mystery boxes
Victorium: increase the likelihood of drawing the card desired by the player
Reparite: allows to recharge the character's energy
There are 3 different categories of character stats, each with its own distinct characteristics:
Genesis Stats: statistics that are randomly generated at the moment a character is obtained.
Stone Stats: bonus statistics that are obtained when a character equips a specific Stone.
Grimorium Stats: bonus statistics that are obtained through the use of Grimoriums.
When a player obtains a character, the values of the 5 traits are randomly generated according to the level of their rarity: the rarer the character, the higher its Genesis Stats will be. It is not possible to alter the value of the Genesis Stats in any way; however, it is possible to favor the generation of higher stats by performing the specific ritual at the expense of the game's tokens.
NOTE: Players can possess more than one Character, in this way each person can use various NFTs built differently, thus having Characters with different skills and attributes, and being able to diversify and increase the chances of winning by applying the prefered strategy.
The table below shows the range of trait points that each Character could get once is been created/minted:
Characters Special Powers
Special Powers (SP) can be regarded as the "final attacks" of the characters within a match. They are extremely powerful moves that can facilitate the character's victory, but must be used at the right moment to be truly effective. Here are the main details:
Each character will have two Special Powers, one for the BJ mode and one for the Poker mode. This means that, depending on the game mode, a character can use only one Special Power.
Once the Special Power is used, one must wait at least 3 turns/hands before being able to use it again.
Using the Special Power has a cost in chips that varies depending on the game mode.
Below is the list of special powers for each character for the BJ mode:
Skeleton (Common): Lowers the bust value for the Dealer by -1.
Goblin (Uncommon): Allows you to destroy the newly arrived card.
Dwarf (Rare): Allows you to see the upcoming card.
Ninja (Epic): Allows you to swap the Dealer's face-up card with one of your own.
Troll (Prime): Makes the Dealer replace the face-up card with a new random card from the deck.
Dark Wizard (Legendary): You can request a Split even if your cards are not identical.
Character Energy
Every character has Energy, which indicates how long a certain character can participate in games, regardless of the mode. All characters have a maximum 100 value of Energy, When this value reaches 0, the character will be forced to exit the ongoing game and will no longer be able to participate in new gaming sessions. It will then be necessary to wait for the Energy to recharge before being able to play again with the same character or to purchase an amount of Energy.
To maximize the consumption of Energy and thus increase the possible duration of a character's participation in the games, it is advisable to:
Increase the value of the Stratagem Stat as much as possible, through Stones or Grimoires, or by using a high-rarity level character.
Take advantage of the bonus obtained from potential consumables of the Mystery Box.
Have multiple characters available. This way, when one character has exhausted their Energy, they can be replaced with a new character fully charged and used while the previous one begins the energy recovery process.
